RRJB is one of many Joint Boards from across the United States and Canada that make up our international Union.

UNITE (formerly the Union of Needletrades, Industrial, and Textile Employees) and HERE (Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union) merged on July 8, 2004 forming UNITE-HERE!. The union once represented more than 450,000 active members and more than 400,000 retirees througout North America. They dissolved the merger in March of 2009 and formed "Workers United" representing over 150,000 former UNITE-HERE! members.
